Full Job Description

A leading NFP is looking for a Project Manager with strong facilities knowledge and people management experience in Brooklyn NY

Job Function:

Oversee the operation and performance of all major building systems.
Ensure the property remains safe, compliant, and operational at all times.
Direct preventive maintenance initiatives and long-term asset preservation strategies.
Coordinate vendor services, inspections, and contracted work.
Maintain compliance with FDNY, DOB, DOH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Manage required inspections, testing schedules, and building certifications.
Lead preparation for agency, funder, and regulatory inspections.
Monitor and resolve violations, deficiencies, and compliance-related issues.
Coordinate response efforts involving critical building systems and infrastructure.
Ensure appropriate emergency preparedness procedures are maintained and followed.
Assist with maintenance budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost control.
Support capital planning and equipment replacement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma required.
7+ years of facilities management experience with minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading facilities/operations teams.
Must have experience managing vendors, compliance programs, inspections and preventative measures.
Has to have strong knowledge of building management systems.
S-12, S-13, & S-95 certifications required.
