Position Summary
MGI is seeking a Project Manager with strong organizational and leadership skills with extensive experience managing multi-million dollar Federal projects. Candidates must have extensive Government contract experience and be proficient in Procore.
In this role you will be the project owner (MGI is always the Prime) managing multiple scopes, with the bulk of the scope being electrical, specifically low voltage electrical for fire alarm systems. This role includes direct oversight of all electrical personnel within the division and serve as the primary point of contact for federal contracting officers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with NFPA, UL, OSHA, and other contract and regulatory standards. Working closely with the division VP, this leader will help grow MGI’s revenue, profits, and people.

- Organization - Procore, Microsoft Projects schedule development, budget management

- Healthcare Facility Experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee superintendents, electricians, subcontractors, and vendors
- Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to drive field execution
- Serve as primary contact for contracting officers and stakeholders
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution initiatives
- Develop project plans, assist with estimates, and support bid strategy
- Ensure compliance with national fire codes and safety standards
- Schedule inspections and maintain documentation for certifications
- Forecast budgets, manage billing, and lead WIP reviews with VP
- Procure materials and control expenses
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and conduct safety audits
- Implement quality control and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Projects
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years in Government Contracting
- Proven success managing $5M+ commercial and healthcare projects
