Collegial, boutique law office in Wellesley is offering a full-time associate position concentrating on commercial real estate matters and to a lesser degree residential real estate matters. Local candidates only and please note we are not interested in attorneys who have their own solo practices. Must be a licensed attorney in Massachusetts.
Specifically, the position will focus on commercial loan transactions, commercial leases, commercial acquisitions and commercial foreclosures. The position will also include some work on residential purchases and sale agreements and closings.
The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials and attributes:
- Admission to the Massachusetts bar
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Desire to work on and complete all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, including expertise with Excel
- Genuine interest in real estate transactions
