Home Office: This position is based out of our Clear Lake office and provides leadership and support to residential services throughout the Garner, Iowa area.

As a Team Lead, you'll provide day-to-day leadership for a team of Direct Support Professionals while ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive exceptional, person-centered support. Your days will include:

Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Direct Support Professionals

Providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback

Assisting individuals with daily living activities, including cooking, hygiene, laundry, medications, and community involvement

Supporting individuals with budgeting, personal finances, and independent living skills
-
Monitoring documentation and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards

Creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for both employees and the individuals we support

Collaborating with leadership to improve services and daily operations

Participating in an on-call rotation and supporting staffing needs as necessary

Option 1

High School Diploma or GED
-
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
OR
Option 2
-
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field
-
Two (2) years of relevant experience
Additional qualifications:
-
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
-
Medication Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain within six months
-
Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with physical support as needed

Must pass required background checks, drug screening, and health screenings
-
Completion of required certifications, including Mandt Training
