True Torch ABA is a clinician-led ABA provider focused on delivering individualized, high-quality behavioral services to children and families. We are currently seeking dependable and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing clinical team.
Responsibilities
As an RBT, you will:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Implement skill acquisition programs, including communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data
- Complete timely and objective session documentation
- Utilize reinforcement, prompting, DTT, NET, and other ABA procedures as clinically appropriate
- Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors according to the client's treatment plan
- Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
- Maintain professional communication with families and the clinical team
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification through the BACB
- Ability to pass required background and compliance screenings
- Reliable transportation for assigned in-home cases
- Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
- Strong communication and professionalism
Preferred:
- 2+ year of ABA experience
- Experience with autism and developmental disabilities
- Experience supporting individuals with aggression, tantrums, elopement, or other challenging behaviors
- Experience with DTT, NET, prompting procedures, and behavior reduction programs
Compensation & Career Growth
True Torch ABA utilizes a structured technician career ladder designed to recognize clinical competency, reliability, professional development, and continued performance.
RBT Career Track:
- RBT I: $25/hour
- RBT II: $27/hour
- Senior RBT: $29/hour
- Lead RBT: $31+/hour
- BCBA Student/Fieldwork Track: opportunities available for qualified employees
Technicians may be considered for advancement through periodic performance evaluations. Advancement is based on factors including attendance and reliability, treatment fidelity, data accuracy, professionalism, responsiveness to supervision, experience, and organizational needs. Promotions and pay increases are not automatic based solely on length of employment.
