Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations with efficiency and friendliness
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and waiting areas
- Handle guest inquiries politely via phone or in person, providing information about menu items or restaurant policies
- Support serving staff by assisting with guest needs and ensuring a seamless dining experience
Requirements
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and provide outstanding guest experiences
