DTA Direct Care Worker
- Responsible for successfully completing job specific and annual trainings as indicated in the training plan
- Responsible for abiding by the Code of Ethics, conduct business in a professional manner
- Responsible for providing at least two weeks’ notice requesting vacation time
- Responsible for calling in sick 8 hours prior to scheduled time to work
- Responsible for working out schedule changes
- Other duties as assigned PRIMARY CONTACTS-INTERNAL & PUBLIC:

- Community stake holders i.e. T/RBHA’s contractors
- All Levels of internal staff
- Program Manager
- Clinical Coordinator

POSITION REQUISITES: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Has a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of full-time DDD work experience or
- Has an associate degree and at least two years of full-time DDD work experience or
- Has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and either a.) 18 credit hours of post-high school education in a field related to DDD completed no more than four years before the date the individual begins providing DDD services and two years of full time DDD work experience or
- Four years of full time DDD work experience
- High School diploma prefer at least one year of behavior health field experience, but willing to train with a GED or High School diploma PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift 25 pounds
- Drive a vehicle
- Completes required trainings
- Participates in required supervision DTA Direct Care Worker (DCW) 3
- Physically able to perform the primary responsibilities and working conditions as evident by a physical exam or nursing assessment prior to hire
- Ability to respond to emergencies OTHER CERTIFCATIONS/LICENSES NOT INCLUDED ABOVE:
- Current CPR Certificate (ADULT, INFANT & CHILD)
- Current First AID Certificate (ADULT, INFANT & CHILD)

- Requires going in and out of facility several times a day
