Several onsite Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for full-time school-based positions, collaborating closely with local educational teams. These roles support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings (multiple positions available). This contract opportunity promises a chance to build lasting connections while delivering direct, in-person care—virtual options are not available, as these positions will serve as key onsite team members.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending Washington SLP license (willingness to obtain is required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Ability to complete fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to do so)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide individualized and group therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, and receptive/expressive language needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and ancillary personnel
- Support development and implementation of IEPs and participate in eligibility meetings
- Serve as a consultative resource for classroom strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
