Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team at a fast-paced quick service café. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to engage with customers and promote menu items will contribute to the overall success of our café.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow; retail math experience is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
