Security Officer Patrol
As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Support in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aero/defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity in varied working environments and conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access control issues or policy violations.

Support site personnel during alarms, evacuations, and/or other emergency situations by following post orders and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or local responders.
Minimum Requirements:

A guard card or license is preferred.

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
