- At AKA-CHI Psychiatry, we provide medication prescribing and management, patient education, psychotherapy, spiritual counseling, and other mental health services. Our Providers and non-clinical staff are a group of individuals with common value system. We take pride in our common and shared humanity with our patients. We provide endless positive regards to our patients. We provide care with the intent to empower and instill hope. Recovery from mental illness is our treatment goal. Duties:
- Provide primary care to patients
- Perform initial examinations, recording patient medical histories, follow-up visits and patient observations
- Order medications and administering diagnostic tests
- Communicate test results to patients and their families
- On-call coverage as needed.
- Quality Improvement
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues, patients and their families
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to ensure the Practice remains competitive
- Make critical clinical decisions
Qualifications:
> Must be Board Certified and licensed to practice in New York, and New Jersey States
> Must have Dea in New York and New Jersey
> Must have malpractice insurance
> Must have a collaborating physician if a new graduate
> Excellent nurse leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
> Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
> Competitive salary commensurate with experience. $70-$110 per hour(negotiable)
>Contract/Per-diem Staff
