(Full-time/Long-term Internship)
Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.
Approximate Duration: June/July 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Basic Function of the Position:
This position is hands-on learning experience providing support to the CES Operations department as they manage preshow and on-site logistics planning for CES 2027.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the CES Operations team and assist with projects including, but not limited to:

Manage exhibitor calls and emails pertaining to the CES Exhibitor Manual and other preshow planning tools.

Assist Operations team with the management of the CESOps inbox for exhibitor customer service

Assist Operations team in preparing and filing contracts, invoices and check requests.

Maintain website content on CES.tech and show planning pages.

Assist with contracting and onboarding of temporary staff including floor managers and office managers.

Assist with processing graphics and work orders.

Plan catering requirements.

Travel to Las Vegas in January to:

Provide exhibitor support.

Execute staff work orders.
-
Manage staff communication schedule and equipment.

Coordinate return staff shipment to Arlington.

Other related projects and duties as assigned.
Work Experience:
-
Customer service and/or event management experience is preferred, but not required.

Some prior office experience preferred.
Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in the field of Event Management or Marketing or commensurate experience preferred.
