Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Greenwich, CT. Salary
- Lead Teachers: $20.00 to $26.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Assistant Teachers: $18.00 to $20.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications -Lead Teachers
- REQUIRED Education: Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- REQUIRED Experience: 2 years in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
Qualifications - Assistant Teacher
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
- REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity
Qualifications - All Positions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be at least 18-years-old
