Job Title: Sales Associate (Part-Time)

Pay: $16.00 – $19.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time (Maximum 20 hours or less per week)
Schedule: Daytime hours (Mon–Thu 10 AM – 6 PM, Fri–Sat 10 AM – 5 PM). Must be able to work at least two Saturdays per month.

Sass is a curated, resale 2nd hand Desiger and better brand Resale Boutique in Cockeysville. We specialize , high-end designer clothing, shoes, jewelry, and handbags, alongside trendy new retail boutique items. Our unique inventory comes from selective consignment and buying upfront directly from the public.
We pride ourselves on a high-energy, positive environment—and yes, we are pet-friendly, so you must be comfortable working alongside three small dogs.
What You’ll Do
- Sales Floor & Customer Service: Greet customers with an uplifting, positive attitude and drive sales through active styling and floor engagement.
- Buying & Consignment: Evaluate incoming designer and brand-name items from customers, applying a sharp attention to detail to check for authenticity, condition, and current trends.
- Register & POS Operations: Ring up sales accurately, process transactions, and use basic math skills to calculate buy-out offers or discounts. Must be good at Math.
- Merchandising: Keep the sales floor looking fresh and inviting by creating eye-catching displays and restocking inventory.
- Social Media Content: Comfortably create and post engaging content on Instagram and Facebook to showcase new arrivals and updates.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven retail sales and floor selling experience is required. Previous experience in a clothing resale or consignment environment is highly preferred.
- Tech & Math Savvy: Comfortable using POS/register systems and strong basic math skills for processing buys and ringing sales.
- Work Style: A fast worker who can follow instructions precisely, succeed independently, and collaborate seamlessly within a small team.
- Vibe: Exceptionally friendly, uplifting, and naturally positive.
- Requirements: Must be at least 20 years old to meet specific operational guidelines.
