American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Telemetry travel assignment in North Carolina, requiring ACLS and proficiency with critical IV drips on a night shift schedule.

42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics
-
May care for IMCU patients based on census needs
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Weekends and holidays required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating to like or lower acuity units required based on need
-
Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required
-
Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips required

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Unit team consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/Unit Secretaries

Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the hiring manager
