American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for a night shift travel contract at a Level I trauma, academic teaching hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 1,259 staffed beds, operating as a Level I trauma and academic teaching facility
-
MRI department utilizing multiple Siemens scanners, including Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, and Vida models
-
Preferred experience with inpatient, outpatient, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, and Adult ICU settings
-
Daily caseload of 100–150 scans per technologist

Charting via Epic; experience preferred
-
3x12-hour night shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
One Saturday per month on weekends, if needed

No on-call requirement

Floating within service line per facility policy
-
Black scrubs required
-
Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Current BLS required
-
Siemens MRI equipment experience required

License required if applicable

PACS experience preferred

IV start experience preferred

Preferred imaging skills include: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral MR Angiography, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, and T-1/T-2 Weighted Images

Ability to work with at least two of the facility's current Siemens software platforms preferred

Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment, and all RTO must be established prior to acceptance

Travelers who have worked at any BJC facility as permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
-
Allied travelers may work up to 12 months before requiring a 6-month break in service

Pre-start compliance modules are required and must be completed prior to the start date

Fit testing is required; travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper respirator fit testing or will be expected to shave — no exceptions
