Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will inspire and nurture young learners while integrating faith-based values into everyday classroom experiences. You will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and provide a safe, structured, and joyful environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment that reflects the love of Jesus
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Guide children through daily routines including learning, play, meals, and rest time
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs
- Ensure compliance with all school policies and state regulations
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support a positive school culture
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (preschool or childcare setting preferred)
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Patient, nurturing, and dependable
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must align with Connect Academy’s Christian values and mission
Preferred Qualifications
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a faith-based program

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
