We are seeking a motivated, organized, and hospitality-driven Assistant Hotel General Manager to support all aspects of hotel operations and help lead an exceptional guest experience. This leadership position assists in managing the Bistro, Bar, Banquets, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales departments as needed.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, motivates and coaches staff effectively, and is passionate about achieving excellent Guest Satisfaction Scores. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, and committed to being part of a positive and successful team culture.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, staff supervision and coaching, inventory management, ordering, cost control, and maintaining focus on profit and loss performance. The Assistant General Manager will help ensure operational efficiency, outstanding guest service, and achievement of hotel performance goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel experience required
- At least 1 year in a hotel supervisory or leadership role required
- Experience with inventory, ordering, cost management, and profit & loss performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Helpful certifications include:
- Pool certifications
- Food Manager certification
- Alcohol service certifications
If certifications are not currently held, they must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
