Are you energetic, dependable, and passionate about creating fun experiences for children and families? Join our team as a Kids Play Center Attendant & Birthday Party Host and help provide a safe, exciting, and welcoming environment where children can play, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
As a key member of our guest experience team, you will supervise play areas, support birthday parties and special events, assist families, maintain a clean and safe facility, and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children in play areas to ensure a safe and positive experience
- Enforce safety rules and intervene appropriately to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior
- Welcome guests and provide information about activities, play zones, and facility guidelines
- Host birthday parties and special events from setup through cleanup
- Create fun and memorable party experiences through decorations, activities, and guest interaction
- Set up balloon displays and party areas to enhance the guest experience
- Engage with children and families while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout play areas, equipment, and guest spaces
- Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management
- Assist with admissions, merchandise sales, and POS transactions
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and creating positive experiences for families
- Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, responsible, and attentive in a busy environment
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude
- Customer service, childcare, recreation, or hospitality experience is a plus
- Basic cleaning or janitorial experience is helpful but not required
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
