MID Industrial Tools rents and services field machining and bolting equipment for the refineries and petrochemical plants along the Houston Ship Channel. We are a small, hands-on team in Pasadena, and we are looking for the person who keeps our sales operation running day to day.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build estimates in QuickBooks and convert them to invoices
- Track equipment in and out of the warehouse so billing and inventory stay accurate
- Follow up with customers on POs, delivery dates, and payment confirmations
- Answer inbound calls and emails from plant buyers and contractors, and get them the pricing and product info they need, fast
- Work side by side with our outside sales reps and shop team
- Qualify and follow up on new leads, and spot chances to upsell
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in inside sales, order desk, quoting, dispatch, or office administration. Industrial distribution, tool rental, valves and fittings, welding supply, or oilfield service experience is a big plus
- Hands-on QuickBooks experience. You have built estimates and invoices yourself
- Strong Excel and Outlook, and comfortable working in a CRM
- Detail-oriented and dependable. In this job, a wrong digit on a quote costs real money
- Confident on the phone with plant buyers and shop foremen
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
SCHEDULE AND PAY
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
- $20 to $26 per hour depending on experience
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Flexible hours available for candidates who need to work around family or childcare
