Description:
Essential Functions (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following):

Sewing leather, Naugahyde or other heavy materials.

Train on and operate an industrial sewing machine.

Responsible for data collection and documentation.

Report defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have industrial sewing experience.

Must be able to use an industrial sewing machine.

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.

Must have good eye for small detailed inspection.

Able to work independently and with others.
-
Ability to use a ruler and have good basic math skills.

Must be ambitious, energetic, and quality conscious.
Education:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry-level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.
