Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Mixologist Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections, wine pairings, and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food service duties including bussing tables, serving dishes, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant management tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in beverage service or bartending within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and drink orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards required; experience in food handling is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
