Great Summer Job Opportunity!
We are a small local Moving Company looking to hire strong individuals able to lift 50-75lbs. Must be able to work outside for extended periods, lift heavy items with care, handle stairs while lifting and utilize general moving tools (dolly, carts, ratchet straps, etc)
Freelance job- Cash, digital pay or checks paid daily for work.
Minimum of two hour pay guaranteed after job is completed
Transportation can be provided as job services 100mi radius
We are fully flexible with scheduling, requests off and sudden unavailability. We require 24hrs notice if unable to work scheduled job. We try our best to accommodate to everyone’s schedule however our policy for day off call ins, or repeated cancellations within a short period will result in termination. Please be aware if you are applying that we have start times typically early in mornings, we are seeking motivated early worms!
Duties
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Operate various moving equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and box trucks while adhering to safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, managing weight distribution to maintain vehicle stability and safety.
- Communicate professionally with customers to coordinate delivery times and address any special handling requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times, including the storage of tools and equipment In work vehicle
Skills
- Prior experience or background in laborious jobs is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices and weight handling in the workplace to prevent injuries.
- Proven ability to load & unload efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during moves.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safe lifting practices under demanding conditions.
- A general understanding that we are in the clients home , handling the personal items that they are trusting us to take care of during the move. We muse be respectful to the customer, their home, and belongings to ensure the comfort and ease we are responsible for creating for our clients.

Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
