We are also well known for our Cake Decorating Classes, vending at music festivals, and provide wholesale pastries to businesses throughout Kentuckiana.
Summary
We are seeking a part-time Bakery Assistant at Bae's Baekery to assist with baking prep, baking cookies, and preparing buttercream. We are specifically seeking to fill the following days/hours:
Sunday through Thursday -
7am-12pm or 4pm-9pm
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery products.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed.
- Help with packaging items for wholesale accounts.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Bake all designated pastries to perfection, following recipes as directed.
- Work efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a bakery or culinary environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in baking and pastry arts.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Can stand for 8 hours / lift 50 pounds.
