About the Position
Lodge Lumber is seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily manufacturing operations. This role works closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and production goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys developing employees, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily production operations and personnel.
- Support execution of production schedules and workflow planning.
- Coordinate labor and resources to meet production goals.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance throughout the shift.
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee training, coaching, and development.
- Help investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate production status and operational issues to management.
- Step into a leadership role during the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
- Ability to motivate, train, and develop employees.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- ERP system experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED.
