Scope: The ASR Production Worker is a member of the Kyana/ASR Support team, responsible for assembly and light production services for the company. Many different types of products are created, assembled, and packaged by ASR. The Production Worker uses various skills to perform a variety of duties that may change daily depending on the work order. Quality control is an everyday part of ASR.
Task Descriptions:
- Prebuilt box assembly, including hot gluing.
- Fulfillment packing, sorting, and labeling.
- Kitting Services – For companies seeking to outsource assembly and subassembly jobs.
- Repair and Rework – Fixing quality issues of product
- Die Cutting – A manufacturing process used to generate large numbers of the same shape from material such as wood, plastic, metal, or fabric.
- Bagging – Machines for packing a range of products including fasteners, screws, molded parts, and a variety of multiple applications.
- Low volume packing foam converting – Includes operating a manually controlled sheeting machine.
Quality Control: The ASR Production Worker is responsible for producing quality products per set standards for each kit/product. They must conduct quality checks and verify that the product is acceptable for sale to the customer. They are responsible for checking that work orders are completed correctly and accurately and to note any discrepancies or problems with the production run, notifying manager as needed of any issues.
General Warehouse Duties: The ASR Production Worker is responsible for general warehouse duties, such as keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and orderly. They may also assist in other warehouse areas as needed. Every worker is responsible for maintaining warehouse stock in the correct location in a clean and organized fashion.
Qualifications: The ability to understand directions. Ability to stick to work, task plan with minimal direction from supervisor using efficient time management. Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. Ability to do appropriate paperwork. Ability to seek directions when necessary. Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with other employees. Be able to learn or have experience using a bandsaw as well as have basic knowledge of general mechanical experience.
Work Experience: 1-3 years prior to light manufacturing or press operator experience is preferred but not required.

These activities may be performed for extended periods, ranging from 1 to 9 hours per day, depending on operational needs. Lifting is an essential part of the job duties, and the employee must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
