Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Duties
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being
- Assist with classroom organization, activity setup, and clean-up to create an organized learning environment
- Support children with behavioral management techniques that encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; ongoing training is encouraged
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong child supervision skills combined with the ability to engage children through activity planning and teaching
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration
- Classroom or daycare experience along with babysitting or nannying background is preferred
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment for all children
