Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position is Monday through Friday, 06:00 PM - 02:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and industrial settings, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain floors through regular care, including buffing and stripping as needed.
- Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces to uphold facility standards.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for replenishment.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
