Location: Bethel, Alaska
Pay Rate: $2,236 to $2,336/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mammographer for a 13-week contract opportunity in Bethel, Alaska. This role supports diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages and requires strong mammography, imaging quality, patient care, radiation safety, and documentation skills in a healthcare imaging department.
Responsibilities
Perform mammography and diagnostic imaging exams according to department protocols
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper exam completion
Evaluate images for technical quality and complete required QA/QC activities
Operate imaging equipment, transfer images to PACS, and maintain accurate patient records
Provide patient education, support routine breast cancer screening, and follow ACR standards
Requirements
ARRT(R)(M) Or Equivalent Registration Required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Minimum 2 years of imaging or mammography experience preferred/required
Digital mammography and tomosynthesis training required
MQSA requirements, breast CEUs, mammography exam volume, recent X-ray, Fuji, and Cerner experience preferred
