Follow all job, safety/environmental, and inspection instructions from cell work instructions and your CNC Trainer/Supervisor

Set up machines and gages so production starts right the first time

Operate CNC equipment and verify part conformance using gages

Hit (or beat) production standards while maintaining company and customer quality requirements

Make offset adjustments to hold tolerances
-
Change inserts correctly, including understanding insert type and radius
-
Use the tag procedure to identify and control parts

Keep the area clean and safe: housekeeping, recycling, labeling, spill response, and environmental programs

Comply with all Quality and Environmental system requirements

Propose continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping (to your supervisor or HR box)

Tackle other duties your supervisor assigns

Experience or trainability on CNC lathes, mills, and broaches

Machine shop training (high school or beyond)

Capability to perform offset adjustments

Knowledge of insert types/radii and proper changeover

Skill reading gages: plug, snap, flush pin, go/no‑go, calipers, etc.

Core equipment: CNC lathe (high‑volume production), with Fanuc controls

Hands‑on skills: change tools/inserts, make offsets, troubleshoot quality issues

Quality mindset: apply various gaging methods to confirm part conformance
