Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines and resident preferences
- Serve meals with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Handle food safely by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling, and storage procedures
- Support kitchen cleanliness through cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Follow proper food production procedures, including portion control and presentation standards
- Maintain accurate documentation related to dietary needs, meal counts, and sanitation logs
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards necessary for safe food handling
- Strong time management skills to efficiently prepare and serve multiple meals within scheduled times
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen cleanliness routines
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with residents and team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions related to dietary requirements and meal plans

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
