We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking delicious dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation of our menu items. Your expertise in various cooking techniques and strong attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute dishes according to the established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Handle a variety of cooking equipment with precision and efficiency, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menu items.
Requirements:
- SUNDAY AVAILABILITY IS A MUST.
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Line Cook in a scratch kitchen high-volume restaurant or similar culinary setting.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to meet food preparation timelines.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate the needs of the restaurant.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Compensation:
- Training rate: $17 per hour.
- Pay rate: $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and availability.
