We are seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts. In this role, you'll manage transportation activities from pickup through delivery, coordinate with internal teams and carriers, proactively communicate with customers, and ensure shipments move efficiently while providing an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for transportation needs.
- Coordinate freight movement from pickup through final delivery, ensuring timely execution.
- Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and responsive service.
- Monitor shipment status, identify potential service issues, and implement solutions before they impact customers.
- Coordinate with carriers, operations, dispatch, sales, and customers to ensure successful load execution.
- Maintain accurate load, shipment, and customer account information within transportation systems.
- Resolve customer concerns, shipment exceptions, and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Prioritize multiple customer requests and transportation activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, transportation management systems (TMS), and internal software to support daily operations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, account management, logistics coordination, or transportation experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and email communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, dispatch, load planning, carrier relations, or logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems, or logistics software.
- Quality Assurance (QA), process improvement, or compliance experience.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday- in person, no remote work options.
- 8-hour shifts
- Overtime opportunities available
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
