Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) to align with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production flow.
- Oversee logistics inventory management and inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Analyze Excel spreadsheets and data reports for demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and production scheduling adjustments.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve scheduling conflicts, address supply issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, production management systems, or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting techniques, and demand forecasting analysis.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and inventory control methods.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Prior experience implementing lean manufacturing practices or working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
