Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and recommendations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Handle cash handling duties with precision, including cash drawer management and basic math calculations
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing through merchandising techniques
- Upsell products by highlighting promotions and new items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries over the phone
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of store items
- Assist in inventory management by stocking supplies and monitoring product levels to prevent shortages
- Support store merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that attract customer attention
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math enhances efficiency in daily tasks
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership development within the team
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike
