Reports to: Shipping Clerk, Client Supervisor, or Warehouse Manager
Job overview: Pick, pack, and ship orders for our e-commerce division.
Responsibilities include:

Fulfilling orders by priority dictated by warehouse manager – e.g. availability, location

Generating packing slips from shipping software
-
Pushing pick carts through the warehouse to temporarily store product during item picking
-
Picking orders from specified bin locations
-
Utilizing mobile scanning devices to transfer inventory
-
Folding corrugated boxes for shipping
-
Placing items in boxes for shipping
-
Verifying item contents relative to packing slips prior to shipping
-
Sealing boxes with adhesive tape and poly mailer bags for shipping
-
Generating shipping labels and applying them to boxes for shipping
-
Sorting
Assists with general warehousing work such as:

Loading and unloading product from to/from trucks and shipping containers
-
Assisting with inventory counts and sortation of defective product
-
Restocking depleted bin locations with product from replenishment zones
-
Physically transferring product from bin location to bin location
-
Receiving returned product and dismantling packages to the component level for counting and restock
-
Working alongside others on an assembly line to create “crates” and assortment bundles
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain standing for the duration of the shift

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs solo, or up to 100 lbs in a team lift

Must be able to perform a bending and lifting motion

Hours worked/Day: 8
Lunch/Breaks: 30 min lunch uncompensated, two (2) 15-minute breaks compensated
Total Hours/Week Available: 40
Wage: $10 - $15 per hour
Equipment Used: Order picker, forklift, pallet jack (if applicable)
Materials Handled: Cardboard, paper, wood
