Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Front End Wheel Bucket Loader Operator to join our dynamic concrete recycling team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a front-end wheel loader (Volvo L350H) equipped with buckets to efficiently move, load, and unload materials on construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation will ensure smooth workflow, safety, and productivity across various projects. Duties
- Operate front-end wheel bucket loaders with precision to load materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris onto trucks or into designated areas on construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy machinery operators to execute tasks efficiently and safely
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction zones by moving materials and clearing pathways using heavy equipment like excavators, dozers, or graders when needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Support other construction operations including the use of dump trucks, water trucks, horizontal drilling machinery, or tanker trucks as required
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including front-end loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, water trucks, horizontal drills, and tankers
- Proven experience operating wheel loaders in a construction setting with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Commercial driving skills with valid licenses for operating heavy machinery and commercial vehicles such as dump trucks or water trucks
- Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety standards, and equipment protocols
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors
