Your Role
As a PRN SLP, you will:
- Evaluate: Conduct speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments.
- Treat: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support communication and safe oral intake.
- Collaborate: Consult with nursing and dietary teams regarding diet consistency and safety.
- Educate: Provide guidance to patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
- Document: Maintain accurate and compliant records per hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active SLP license in the state that you are applying (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Certification: ASHA CCC preferred; CFY considered with supervision options
- Experience: Geriatric, dysphagia, or behavioral health experience preferred
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning and communication abilities
- Professionalism: Collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care
