Job Title Maintenance Technician
Job Summary JSK Hospitality is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Mishawaka. In this role you’ll keep the property running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, handling repairs, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas stay safe, clean, and in excellent condition. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and building systems
- Respond quickly to guest and associate maintenance requests
- Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Troubleshoot and fix appliances, fixtures, and furniture
- Complete room readiness checks and support housekeeping when needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records
- Follow all safety procedures and report potential hazards
- Assist with grounds and exterior upkeep as needed
- Support other departments during busy periods or special projects
Requirements Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance, facilities, or related experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various positions
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Previous hotel or multi-unit property maintenance experience
- Experience with Hilton brand standards
- HVAC or related certifications
- Valid driver’s license
