About Our Spa
- We are a husband and wife onsite Hand and Stone Massage and Facial spa franchise owners. ( Family-Oriented)
- We are an upscale, member-based spa looking for both part-time and full-time massage therapists who are friendly, talented, and dependable and want to work in a professional and busy spa.
- Our clients come in to receive high quality, professional massages for both relaxation or pain relief. We match clients to therapists based on client needs and have a no seniority policy. Hand & Stone was founded by a physical therapist and we take great care of our therapists! Pay based on commission for services, upgrades and tips. Our therapists earn an average of $50.00 to $80.00 per hour depending upon hours worked and services provided (includes tips).
Summary
As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), you will provide therapeutic massage services to enhance the well-being of clients. Reporting to the spa manager, your role involves utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to perform deep tissue and trigger point therapies, ensuring effective pain management and patient assessment. Your premium skills in patient service will be essential in creating a welcoming environment, while your relevant experience in customer service and med spa settings will contribute to client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to address pain management and promote overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate client records and document treatment progress.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with clients to enhance their experience.
- Be skilled in conducting Swedish massage and deep tissue massage.
- Be willing to learn and provide all services offered to the public: deep tissue, hot stone, sports, Himalayan salt stone, prenatal, etc.
- Must be able to perform, 50mins, 80mins and 100mins
- Learn and Follow all Policy and Procedures for Hand and Stone Surprise Arizona
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Be service-oriented and enjoy working with different types of clientele.
- Be a team player; be willing to help and assist other team members.
- Maintain a professional and clean work environment and appearance.
- Be punctual and dependable.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Professional liability insurance.
- Az Valid Massage Therapy License (LMT)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in Swedish massage and Deep Tissue Massage
- Excellent patient assessment and pain management skills
- Experience in customer service and occupational health
- Familiarity with med spa environments and patient service best practices
- Must be able to work weekends and some nights
