Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for performing core accounting functions and supporting the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial reporting. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities, while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial recording and control. This position operates with moderate independence and contributes to continuous improvement of accounting processes.
A good faith estimate of the salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 annually. This position is exempt for purposes of overtime reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments

Support and actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes

Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate variances

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy

Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity as needed

Assist in preparation of internal financial reports and supporting schedules

Maintain organized documentation to support audit and compliance requirements

Partner with operations payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate expense coding and reporting

Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

2-4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or inventory environment preferred)

Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes

Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)

Proficiency in Mircosoft Excel experience with ERP systems preferred

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
