We are currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our team in a dual role as a Quality Control Specialist and General Assistant.
Job Summary
This is not your typical desk job. This position is a dynamic blend of Quality Control, Hands-on Industrial Labor, and Office/Assistant work.
You will spend a significant portion of your day on your feet, both inside the shop and outside in the yard where our large metal pieces are located. We will provide full training, but we need someone who can retain information quickly, work independently, and execute tasks accurately without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Inspecting large metal parts to ensure industrial painting meets company and client standards.
- Industrial Labor: Moving parts, bending, standing, walking, lifting, and pulling throughout the day in an outdoor/indoor shop environment.
- Assistant Duties: Running company errands, assisting management, and handling light office/computer work as needed.
Shift & Training Schedule
- Training Period (First 2–3 weeks): Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Permanent Shift (Post-Training): Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Early morning shift).
- Availability: Overtime is frequently available.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual: Must be fully fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers for basic office tasks.
- Independent Worker: Strong ability to retain training information and work without constant management supervision.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle physical labor (lifting, pulling, bending, walking) in an industrial shop environment and outdoor yard.
- Versatility: Comfortable wearing multiple hats—from QC and labor to office work and running errands.
