Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Supervisor to lead virtual call center agents with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring all operations align with safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Manage team
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity
- Utilize manufacturing management systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data with tools like Microsoft Excel for continuous optimization
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain analytics
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address issues, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean management
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
- Support plant management in developing mechanical knowledge among team members and fostering a safety-first environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and operations management principles
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning tools; experience with MRP systems is essential
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, process improvement techniques, and lean management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process tracking
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team supervision, cross-functional communication, and plant management
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly processes is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage production scheduling effectively while balancing quality standards
- Ability to analyze supply chain data for insights that improve overall plant performance
