Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both clinic and outpatient settings, providing exceptional patient care and support. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service in a fast-paced environment. The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic, contributing to patient satisfaction and overall health outcomes. Work hours are Monday through Thursday 7AM-5:30PM.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Obtain patient histories and vital signs, documenting information accurately in electronic health records.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Position does require some travel with practice reimbursement.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to outpatient care.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferable in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, and immediate care.
- Familiarity with dermatology practices and being bilingual is a plus.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate patient care delivery.

Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- CCMA Certification or Equivalent
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Dermatology Experience is a Plus
- Reliable Transportation
- Able to travel to other locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
