Prepare hot and cold menu items — sandwiches, soups, salads, and brunch dishes — following Firebrand recipes and portion standards

Execute daily prep tasks efficiently: slicing, mixing, labeling, and station setup, while minimizing waste

Maintain a clean, organized workstation in strict compliance with California Health Code and HACCP protocols

Safely operate kitchen equipment (pizza ovens, slicers, fryers, mixers) with proper training and PPE

Follow food storage best practices: FIFO rotation, labeling, and allergen awareness

Communicate clearly with your team using Slack for shift updates, prep lists, and handoffs

Bring energy and professionalism during busy service — we move fast and support each other

18 years of age or older

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hour shifts

Open availability, including holidays and weekends

Consistently punctual and reliable with dependable transportation

Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen tools and prep techniques

Able to follow written recipes and execute prep lists with attention to detail

Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen with a small team

Valid California Food Handler Card — or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire
