Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or casual dining
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities
- Background in serving or host/hostess roles that showcase customer relations expertise
