Duties:
- Safely operate a box truck with heavy equipment
- Transport materials and goods to and from designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and/or hand truck
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a box truck driver and delivery
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other loading/unloading equipment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills is a plus
