Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Roofing Repair Technician / General Laborer and become a vital part of our construction crew! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for performing roofing repairs and various general labor tasks on outdoor construction sites. Your hands-on work will help restore and enhance residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Duties
- Assist with roofing repairs, including metal roofing, Tile, Coatings, Rolled Roofing and Shingles, Shake Roofs and leak diagnosis and Coating of various roofing styles and walk deck coating applications.
- Customer service skills, needs to be able to walk up to customers' doors and communicate and diagnose the issue.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install building materials
- Cleaning and maintaining work space area including power washing the roof and trash pick up.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of construction safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project tasks
- Perform outdoor work requiring heavy lifting, framing, masonry, siding installation, caulking, and trim carpentry
- Support restoration projects such as stucco application or masonry repairs while adhering to construction safety regulations
- Assist with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing rough-ins, tile laying, Painting or concrete forming as needed
Requirements
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on general labor experience in outdoor environments (specifically roofing experience)
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to workplace safety regulations
- Comfort working at high heights and high heat.
- Physical endurance or extreme dessert heat and climbing abilities
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, or construction plans
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Basic understanding of roofing repair techniques—metal roofing or as mentioned as above.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocol adherence and teamwork skills

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
