Overview

Duties
- Develop design concepts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce comprehensive presentation materials and construction documents
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets by collaborating with project managers and contractors
- Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely delivery of design phases and documentation milestones
- Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination during the construction planning process
- Manage renovation and interior design projects by creating detailed drafting, selecting materials, and specifying finishes
- Engage in business development activities by preparing proposals, presentations, and negotiating contracts with clients and vendors
- Oversee construction management processes including site visits, quality control, and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication and resolve design or construction issues promptly
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for drafting and visualization
- Strong understanding of project scheduling tools and techniques to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, and contract negotiation to support project profitability
- Knowledge of construction management practices including site supervision and quality assurance
- Skilled in project management methodologies to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for digital markup and document management during design review processes
- Ability to develop detailed drawings for renovation projects as well as interior design concepts
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations, team collaboration, and negotiation efforts
- Understanding of building codes, contracts, construction procedures, and renovation processes

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
