Laundromat Attendant / Customer Service Associate
Overview
Lola's Laundry is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Laundromat Attendant / Customer Service Associate to join our team in Georgetown, Kentucky.
We are specifically seeking someone who is available to work second-shift hours and some weekends on a rotating basis.
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service while helping maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming laundromat environment. Team members assist walk-in customers, maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, process Wash-Dry-Fold and other laundry service orders, and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
As part of the position, team members may also be scheduled to assist with local pickup and delivery of customer laundry orders using a company vehicle within Georgetown and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Schedule
- Must be available to work second-shift hours.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide assistance as needed.
- Help customers with questions regarding washers, dryers, laundry services, pricing, loyalty programs, and other Lola's Laundry services.
- Provide attentive customer service and help resolve routine customer questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming laundromat throughout the shift.
- Clean and maintain washers, dryers, folding tables, floors, restrooms, customer areas, and other assigned areas.
- Regularly monitor the laundromat floor to ensure the facility remains clean and presentable for customers.
- Process customer Wash-Dry-Fold and other laundry service orders accurately and according to established procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, package, and organize customer laundry according to Lola's Laundry quality standards.
- Ensure customer orders are properly identified, processed, and completed on time.
- Perform spot-treatment or stain-removal procedures when appropriate.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer orders and payments.
- Handle cash and other payment transactions accurately.
- Monitor laundry equipment and promptly report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Follow all safety guidelines when operating laundry equipment and handling cleaning products and chemicals.
- Monitor laundry and cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is running low.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient daily operations and excellent customer service.
- Help create a positive customer experience that encourages customers to return to Lola's Laundry.
- When scheduled, safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver customer laundry orders within Georgetown and surrounding areas.
- Perform other reasonable duties related to laundromat operations as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Availability to work second-shift hours is required.
- Availability to work some weekends on a rotating basis is required.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately handle customer payments.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry loads weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Previous laundromat, customer service, retail, hospitality, or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of laundry care, stain treatment, or garment care is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for employees assigned to pickup and delivery duties.
